  Alternatives Action and Communication Network for International Development is a non-governmental international solidarity organization founded in 1994.

  Alternatives believes that another world is possible, through the development of sustainable societies. This conviction is based on engagement, experience, the values of Alternatives members and the social movements to which they belong.

  Alternatives works for a more just world in which women, men and children can live in dignity, respect and with the equitable sharing of the power and resources that they need to live and thrive.
